  1. YES i believe their more likely to sense if not see a spirit.

The 11 dimensions has been covered in previous answer.

Time and space are relative to that which we physically occupy so the theory and probability is that we are never truly alone even in physical death.Matter cannot truly disappear even when "cancelled"by antimatter, ask a scientist who baulks at ghosts to explain matter / antimatter where does it go and what state is it then.

I cannot prove either way but just am sure that animals have equal spirits to ours.

  2. Yeah my mums old dog used to bark at an alcove in her bedroom for no reason and that room was well active with spirit

  3. Yes they can sense things that are going to happen. They have saved lives from sensing that natural disasters are about to happen.

  4. I think my cat is much more clairvoyant than I'll ever be.  Sometimes she stares off into space and I wonder if it's b/c she senses a spirit in the house.

  5. Yes , animals can see a wider spectrum than us and can see entities.

  6. yes apparantly dogs are more tuned into the other side than us.

  7. I don't know about dogs or ghosts, I'll keep an open mind on that one.

It did have me wondering about my cat, (or actually kitten) it's full of jumping about like a complete nut case! I watch her with great care and I am usually prepared for her next  pounce on whatever.

I was watching her one evening and she was staring at a painting on the wall above my head, it was well out of her reach, I did glance up at it but saw nothing that would get her dong her 'nutty' act, she kept staring at it and then her hair rose she was also making very strange noises, like growls  and spitting all over the place, I was starting to get worried, I examined the picture closely, maybe some reflection was upsetting her? But nothing I could see, I just thought 'nut case' and settled back to continue watching the TV.

Within a few seconds she was well into her nut case act, she had jumped onto my head and was trying to get up the wall, I got her off my head and had another look at the picture, a very little spider had emerged from behind the frame and was dangling down the wall, the cat had somehow known it was there, and due to emerge from behind the picture , how? I have no idea.

For anyone out there that likes a happy ending, I put the little spider out of my window, the cat settled down and we all live happy ever after.

  8. I don't know what it was, but my dog would walk around one certain area in the living room.  He'd stand on the other side with nothing in between us.  I'd call him and he'd walk around it to get to me.  This happened for two days straight.

  9. you lived in a haunted house? cool.

yea i suppose that they could because they have a better nose for smelling than humans and since theyre colour blind, that could be for a reason, to see things we cant and who knows what other things they are better at than us. they can tell when a storm is going to happen so why not see things we cant?

  10. Well as we all know ghosts inhabit the nth dimension, now if dogs can see into the nth dimension then dogs can see ghosts. Perhaps someone should ask this as a question.

I would do it myself but I must take my dog for a walk. Bye

  11. No - dogs can't see ghosts, as unfortunately they don't exist.  Often, dogs appear to peer into space - paticularly when listening to something out of sight - you may see them **** their ears at the same time and turn their heads slightly.  This is something that humans do too.  I imagine they may do this when smelling an unusual smell as well.

  12. yes

they as well as cats are particularly sensitive to apparitions as are little children

  13. the visual pigment rhodopsin,i think is better in dogs than in humans,so they must have a better  eyesight ,so it will be possible for dogs to perceive this phenomena

  14. I don't know if I believe in ghosts, however..

There are a few things from the scientific world that I think lend themselves to the supernatural:

One of the laws of thermodynamics states that matter cannot created nor destroyed.  So if you die, *something* had to happen to your spirit.  (that's also where that movie 28 Grams comes from...that's supposed be the amount of weight people lose when they die)

Physicists working with M-theory on things such as the Big Bang utilize math formulas that incorporate 11 dimensions.  This is now pretty strongly believed.

As humans, we can only perceive 4 of them:  height, width, length, and time.   So there are 7 other dimensions that are there, but we lack the senses to perceive them.

Nobody knows this for sure, but animals may have the senses to perceive more than 4 or all 11 of them.  Nobody knows that for sure.  But it might explain some of the extraordinary things people have observed from animals and their perception.

  15. yes, apparantly animals can sense the paranormal

  16. I think it is pretty clear that they can.

First of all, they have a much better sense of smell. Second of all, they don't filter what they perceive as much (more accepting) so they are more likely to see a ghost. Also, you said it yourself -- they always stared at a corner of the room just before something happened.

That doesn't mean all dogs can see ghosts... I bet more can than humans (percentage-wise), but there are probably dogs that would never notice (until a picture frame came rocketing across the room, of course).

  17. yes they can! and so can cats! cats fight them all the time! they no like cats
