  1. He was probably sensing your pain, it seems the older a dog gets the more 'atuned' to you they get.  Some dags are trained to smell a siesure before it happens, he could be smelling  your hormone levels changing.

  2. I have to tell you that yes, they can. My mom had a poodle, (toy) that drug his blankie from his crate in another part of the house and carried it over to my toddler who was about 3 at the time and sitting on the sofa crying about something. Beau (the poodle) jumped up on the sofa and dragged his blankie onto my daughters lap. That very same poodle stood sentry at my moms side as she was dying of cancer. They absolutely Know!!

  3. Absolutely.

Dogs sense changes in people's mood and health.

My dad's dog actually sensed when he was going to die (and it was SPOOKY).

  4. Absolutely. Dogs are very apathetic and pick up on everything.

  5. Yes, dogs can sense pain, sadness, happiness, anger etc. Email me for a more indepth explanation.

  6. Dogs can sense all moods.  When I'm down, my dog tries to comfort me by laying beside me or l*****g my face.  Somehow they can just tell.

  7. yes, dogs sense pain. also anger and other moods.

if you notice, if your scared, a dog will likely come up to you. Not because it wants to beat you up, because it wants to show you it wont hurt you. lol imma dog person....

  8. I think they could, I know they can sense Emotional pain, but i don't know about Physical pain

  9. absolutely, I think so, recently I have had horrible lower back pain, its sometimes hard to even stand up, and it feels like a stab in the back, it hurts bad enough it makes me cry out in pain, and my dog, a Lab Aussie shepard mix, comes up and lays her head on me, and whimpers, to let me know she is there.

  10. yes they can. the last dog i had was a 12 yr old german sheperd mix, and whenever i was crying she would come over and sit beside me, sometimes she would sit infront of me and put her paw on my leg.

but the dog i have now is only 2 and he doesnt seem to understand what to do when he sees me in pain or crying. the most he does is just stare lol.
