  1. Sure, if part of them is above the surface or possible just below, but not if they are down deeper.

  2. Since they are in water, yes they can. But if it was that bad, it would be on the news... but dolphins have lived in the water since the beginning of time, they are still around, so clearly there isn't an epidemic about dolphins getting electricuted.

  3. anything can be struck by lightning

    tht means dolphins can

    too depressing

  4. if they are swimming really fast and they hit an eel it would be like getting struck by lightning=P

  5. yes

unfortunately, why not.  Actually, they are still mammals and need to come to the surface for air occasionally, they can stay underwater a long time but not as long as fish can.  Maybe they know to go places like close to some shores where lightening is more likely to hit other things, like trees.

Unfortunately, it happens to wild horses too

  6. maybe..yes.. but that is really rare

  7. Yep, that's why they cancel football games when there is lightning.

  8. did you suppose they were immune or something? of course they can! just about anything can get struck by lightning. water is struck many times, and dolphins live in water, so im sure they have been.

    make it a good day

  9. what the h**l why wouldent get struck

  10. yes they aviously could but i doubt that they are stupid enough to hang around the surface in a storm.

  11. i thik they'll try to avoid chaotic waters..

even if lightning does not happen in water.

  12. Yeah. Anything Possible.
