Okay...I am NOT looking for a website that gives u a word & tells u what it means if u dream about it...I think I'm looking for something a lil' more in depth.

I have had 2 rather disturbing dreams...well, yea...anyway...

I am worried about my bf cheating, and I keep having dreams of specific girls. With some of them, I don't even recognize them...but I ALWAYS wake up with a name for the girl. The most recent dream was about a girl named Sara who I had never seen in my life. One time, I woke up with a name that I saw on the caller ID box stuck in my head but it made an internal connection with this other girl...

And this other dream that I just had last night was that I had given birth to a little baby girl but I didn't even know I was pregnant? And, once when I was younger, I had a vivid dream like that where I was breast feeding my daughter but i coudln't remember birthing her...I didn't even know her name or who her father was, but I knew she was mine?

Suggestions?

  1. Wow, you have a lot on your plate.

First of all, no. Dreams can't always be interpreted as true or not true. Sometimes, it's a just a safe place for you to work out what is stressing you out.

This first dream you had is a prime example of that. You saw a name on the caller ID box that you didn't recognize and now you're having nightmares where you give the name a face. You seem to know what you think about the scenerio, but the question is-- what are you going to DO about it?

Let me explain--these dreams about these girls aren't indicators of girls that your boyfriend is cheating with. These dreams are indicators that there is some serious trust issues between you and your boyfriend.  Why?  Somewhere, at some time, he has broken trust with you. He doesn't need to have cheated for him to have broken trust. Trust is relationship glue.

This is why staying out of a relationship while you're on the rebound is just so darn important. The sins of the ex can easily be passed onto the current boyfriend if you jump into something before you've allowed yourself to fully heal and process what hurt you--allowing it to change your perspective on life a little, and then changing again when you're ready to trust again.

So my recommendation would be for you to pray for truth. It doesn't come from dreams. Ask God to open your eyes to truth (and you don't need to believe in God for this to work!)

As far as the birthing and nursing dreams go, they could be a number of different things. They could be that you're exploring subconsciously-- what would this be like? Since you've never done it before.  Or I've even seen dreams like these represent birthing of new ideas and opportunities (but usually it's the former.)  Different things do mean different things to different people, just depending on where they are in life.  If I had this dream, it would be a nightmare! My oldest just graduated from high school, my youngest is eight-- I so totally DO NOT want to go there anymore, let me TELL you!! Uh huh!! NOPE!

    I hope this helps!

    Blessings! (And sweeter dreams!)
