Can dreams help a person mentally?

Last night, my mom got into an argument with my older sister. Of course, the argument itself was completely silly. Within the past two months she has gotten into a lot of arguments with my brother, my sister, and me. That's my whole family.

Last night, I was very angry, and to stop myself from getting, well...violent, let's just say, I did one of those write-a-letter-to-the-person-and-don't-s... tactics. At the time, it worked, though I was still fuming.

Last night, I had a dream that I was arguing with my mom. She was screaming at me and kicking me, and I just told her all the things I've always wanted to tell her but never would. Also, some things were quoted straight from my letter.

I woke up this morning feeling a lot better.

Can releasing my anger and frustration towards my mom via dream help me mentally?

  1. yes it does help.  like somtimes if i have a really good dream i wake up all positive and happy. but like one time i had a dream of my mom dead and i woke up like crying and S****y. so yea. it does set up ur mood for the whole day.. and it can help w. u mentally.  hehe

  2. Yes it can - and it did. That dream kind of let you live that situation out without actually confronting your mother. Your living proof dreams can help people.

  3. I think it could definitely help you out mentally. It lets you blow off steam without actually facing it in reality. My family has been like that lately. I suggest meditating or walking out after that happens.

  4. of course. dreams are all about your subconscious. in disguise usually. but this time it was just straightforward. and it did you good.

  5. absolutely it can help you mentally, physically, emotionally. when you dream your sub-conscious comes into play. it does this to help you deal with problems in your life that you can't handle in the awake state.

the letter that you wrote to your mother but didn't give to her is also an excellent means of dealing with pent up feelings that you can't really deal with towards someone who has authority over you. i wish more people in this world handled their problems as you did. the world would be a much better place if they did. many blessings to you.

  6. I think it does help a person release how he feels or thinks, some dreams happen, others are just your thoughts, your inner ones, in your subconscious mind, where your visualization and imagery lives.

    You should read this book:

The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy. It's worth $7.99

If you read it, then this is my answer for your question :)

It's all about dreams, and thoughts that are all linked to our lives.

Be cautious when you think to yourself, because thoughts count too.. :)

Kindly open the links found in the sources, helpful enough? :) and they will help you really very much. Good luck honey.
