I am a 47 year old woman and consider myself a moderate, social drinker. One year ago my alt and ast was normal. Now, one year later, they were double what they were a year ago. (Alt 93, Ast 73). I did have 4 drinks the night before the test, which is actually unusual for me to drink that much. (Stressful day). I figured they said don't eat or drink after midnight. I did not drink or eat after midnight. I have also been taking Lamictal 150 mg (antidepressant) and Ativan.

  1. Let's add it all up.  4 drinks, no food, 150 mg of Lamictal, and Ativan?? Not sure if that will effect your Alt & AST, but it'll definately effect your ABC's.  LOL

  2. Lets see, 4 drinks, 150 mg. of Lamictal, and a couple Ativans would have me posting these kinds of questions in the hockey section for sure.

  3. STOP DRINKIING FEW DAYS BEFORE TO AVOID WITHDRAWL SYMTOMS. YOU WILL BE LESS FORGETFUL AND YOU WILL PERFORM BETTER ,GOOD LUCK.
