Can dwarf hamsters climb?

can dwarfs climb up a tube facing straight up and get bk down it i really needto know

  3. Yes, all rodents can get up tubes. I have, actually had, a hamster that had back leg problems and couldn't get up it. I have another one though that can climb up with no problems at all and she loves it!

  4. yup all hamsters,rats,mice,ect can climb there paws are kinda like human hands they have FINGERS!!! hehe and there cute

  5. they can- it would be much easier for them if you put little holes in them using a hole puncher. then they can use those as little hand grips. but dwarf hamsters love to climb!

Oh yes, they are good little climbers.  When I first got my dwarf and he was just a few weeks old, he had no problem climbing UP the tube.  It was real funny to watch him come down though, he would slide down the tube.  He didn't seem to mind the slide but in just a few days learned how to get down the tube without sliding.  He didn't grow much at all since then so still a cute little guy that is very amusing to watch.
