Can people be dyslexic when it comes to languages like Chinese and Japanese with their alphabets (e.g., kanji)?

  1. Yes, but the dyslexia numbers seem to be lower, probably because learning Chinese and Japanese writing involves more motor skills, longer praxis, and uses different parts of the brain.


  2. well dyslexia is wierd.lyk if yur dyslexic in english.yu could be normal in the chinese language.&if yur dyslexic in chinese you might be ok with english.

  4. I don't think so, maybe they can misread it because a stroke they forgot, but I don't see how you can't recognize this 策略 as 策各.

    First is sakuryaku which means "strategy" while the other means nothing because the radical was neglected.

    Dyslexia is rearranging the letters of a word, my first example was poor.  But, the same in 策略 vs. 略策.

    Sakuryaku is scheme, strategy, but the second doesn't exist because it's not a compound.

    Same for 結婚 vs 婚結.

    1st- kekkon= marriage

    2nd= doesn't exist.
