Question:

Can early implantation (5dpo) mean I will get a positive test sooner than usual?

I think I may have experienced implantation cramps at around 5pdo. I am now at 9dpo and itching to take a test. I have heard that once implantation occurs, HCG levels double each day, so I am gathering that my pregnancy "could" be detectable sooner that Af is due...

Any experiences of early implantation and early + tests?

  1. implantation can take place from 5- 12 days past ovulation.

i would wait to take the test, just so that you are not wasting your money on pregnancy kits, like i did.  since i am on fertility drugs, the clinic i go to gives me a blood test, so I am no longer a big donator to the pregnancy test industry.

wait to be late, its a bit more accurate. i heard first response is the best kit.

  2. You can take an early detection test in the morning (10dpo) and use first morning urine.

Don't worry if it's negative re-test in 3 days still negative? Wait until you miss your period.

  3. You cannot be sure that the cramps were indeed implantation !!! I really doubt implantation can occur that soon...but not 100% sure on that.

But i would advise not to take a test before you miss your period or atleast before 14 days past ovulation. You do not want unwanted disappointment.

I hope this is your month...just relax and wait it out (difficult i know but need to)

    Good luck
