Can eating 20g of carbs a day cause stunt in growth?

i eat 20g or less carbs a day, i eat protein and excersise, i plan on doing this for 1 month, and gradually increase by carb intake by 5-10 each week, I am 15 yeear old male, and I am 5'8 (EWE I AM VVERY SHORT!!

Theres's actually no such thing as an essential carb when it comes to our diets...there are essential fats, and amino acides which we need to live...but if you were to actually put two identical groups of people on an island, feeding one group proteins and fats...and the other group all carbs...odds are when you came back in a year...the carb group would either be dead or close to it....whereas the fat/protein group would be very healty, in fact probably more healthy than when they went on the diet

  3. it is not healthy to eat only 20g of carbs a day.  expecially at your age.

    you are still growing, so stop what you are doing and start right now to eat more carbs.  it can affect your mind also to do such a thing.  it is dangerous.  you need about 100 gram of good healthy carbs a day to sustain your bodily needs to function at peak performance.  that does not mean sweets like cakes and donuts though.  your instincts are

    already speaking to you, or you would not have ask question.  listen to yyourself, please.  i don't know you, but i care.
