Can eating a lot of carbs help you gain weight?

im 13 4 feet 11 and only 85 pounds i REALLY need to gain weight im so tired of people saying how skinny i am.and plz dont say to accept the way i am i know that. so if i eat alot of carbs will that help me gain alot of weight?fast? and what are some carb food i know that theres pasta and wheat bread what else.?

  1. well you can eat food with a lot of calories too. just don't burn all of them off. eat more than you usually do. but don't eat too much greasy and junk food because you'll get overweight and pimples. and you don't want to eat too much, since you're short because you'll look like an oompa loompa. no offense.

  2. yes carbs make you gain weight very fast..

    just eat plenty of carbs.

    pasta, breads. cereals, lots of food have carbs.

    just try to keep it healthy or you'll et fat in stead of looking normal.

    plus your still small and when you grow taller you'll gain more wight.

  4. Eating carbs WILL help you gain weight. Breads, pasta, rice, fruits, cereals, any grains at all, starches such as corn. Try to eat healthy carbs or you might end up gaining cellulite!  Healthy carbs are whole grains (whole wheat bread instead of white bread, for ex.).  good luck. i wish I had your problem! ;-)

  5. No need to worry for you have better metabolism.  Simply eat more fruits and vegetables for snacks and for dinner to keep you in perfect condition.

  6. Carbs that your body does not burn will be stored.

    Eat a lot of whole grains, including brown rice.  

    Vegetables like corn, artichokes, olives have higher calorie counts and natural vegetable oils.

    Don't forget to include your dairy and protein.

    And stay hydrated.

  7. to be honest yu should just eat a balanced diet but much more than usual. i was about 90pounds and needed to gain weight but i found personally it wasnt partiuclary carbs that made me gain. include god sources of fat, unstaurated like avocados,nuts,salmon,seeds e.t.c because this is an easy way to up your calories and they are also healthy. like a bag of nuts is about 400 calories atleast so its easy to uo your cals without feeling bloated.

    however you may find you might not gain cos if you have super fast metabolism then your body will just burn through it all. and maybe even seed up with the increased intake but you should gain over time, it wont be immediate though.

    have lots of high calorie snacks, drink sem skimmed milk and lots of smoothie for good extra calories.
