  1. You wont turn full orange but your skin will slightly turn orange

  2. Carrot addicts can have orange skin on their feet and hands and bad cases find other body areas turning orange too.

We all know about alcohol, drug and tobacco addictions but it is also possible to become addicted to the simple carrot. Scientists say that this is a rare addiction to the beta carotene in the carrots and that addicts may have orange abdomens and the soles of their feet and palms of their hands may turn orange

Don't get the idea that eating carrots is likely to get you addicted though. For most people carrots are a highly nutritious root vegetable and a perfect carrot should be firm with a smooth skin. One 8oz glass of carrot juice contains 20,000mg of vitamin A. They also keep for weeks in the refrigerator.

  3. No.

  4. yes, it has happened

  5. Yes, it is possible. However, it would depend on your skin type.

This happened to a lady I knew many years ago. She would come to our store regularly and buy large quantities of carrots. She would eat them raw, cooked and as a juice.

I hadn't seen her for some months, so out of concern, I approached and asked her if she had been ill. She was covered up, but I could see on her face and hands, that she had turned orange.

  6. Goodness NO. Carrots are very good for your eyes and a very good source for diet food. Raw cooked or any other way. Just like fish is brain food.  JK

  7. it has happened.

not as orange as a carrot, but orange.

    and your eyes to

  8. Hate to disagree with Samantha but yes it can. I experienced it. Rather, my first born daughter experienced it. She loved carrots when she was beginning to eat baby food, from those little jars. So we gave her plenty of carrots. She turned orange. The doctor said it was carrotinitus (spelling?) from the carrots she was being fed. We gave her less and sure enough, in a few days her normal color began to come back.

  9. It's definetly possible. I saw a guy on the news who rubbed this blueish food all over his face every nite and ate/drank it once a day and now he is blue. So maybe if you rubbed it over your face haha but seriously ya it is definetly possible.

  10. If you are turning orange and are not using some sort of bronzing chemical, seek medical attention. Your liver is probably in trouble.

  11. yes, indeed!

  12. This condition is very common in infants, as they eat baby food, which can consist of carrots. This condition isn't very common in adults, I don't think. Your skin may change toward the orange spectrum though.

I would not recommend doing this at all, because there are many nutrients that your body needs that aren't found in carrots.

Carrots also contain a vitamin that helps your eyesight. :o)

    Hope that this helps :o)

  13. i think you'd just turn towards that shade, but never fully orange. boy, wouldn't that be cool?
