  1. yes such as vegetables

  2. Im a true believer in alkaline vs acidic foods. I had chemical poisoning about 2 months ago in which I accidentally inhaled a chemical and it burned up all my organs inside. If I ate something acidic, I was in constant pain. All my organs let me know that it was acidic and it was horrible. The minute I ate an alkaline food, the pain went away instantly. I mean, this was unbearable pain and I went to the emergency room twice for it and I discovered all of this about alkaline foods. The 2 best foods that I found for reducing acidity is apple cider vinegar and bananas (fully ripe bananas, if they are a little green, they can be acidic). Apple Cider Vinegar is hard to eat because its such a strong smell and taste, but I made salads and put it on there and it was the best thing for acid out of all the other alkaline foods I ate and made the pain go away right away. It's like a miracle food the way it works. Here is a list of acidic and alkaline foods http://www.essense-of-life.com/info/food...

The only thing about this list, is that they are wrong when it comes to mustard. Mustard is highly acidic and my stomach let me know it.

  3. Yes.  Fresh fruits and vegetables should raise the pH of your urine, reflecting an increase in your body's alkaline state.
