  1. Yes, if they are allowed to and with permission.  Otherwise they seem to be perpetually snacking ;P

  2. Yes I think because I remember i went to Macdonald's and they were having a lunch break and they were eating that food

  3. ya but even if you get a dicount you still would pay the rite amount if i were u...YA

  4. When I worked at Wendy's many years  ago, I believe we got one meal discounted on days we worked.  I'm sure the policy varies  from company to company.

Now, would they want to eat the food after seeing how it's made?  That's another story.  ;O)

  5. yeah, with a employee meal,

  6. Yeah of course you can. Whether you will have to pay for it (discount or full) or not, is up to the manager.

  7. most places allow you to get 1 meal for free or 1/2 price per shift..  depends on the chain..  when I worked for Nathan's 20 years ago it was free..  I don't know if that was b/c of the manager (who was really nice) or if it was corporate policy..  when I worked for Wendy's15 years ago you were allowed 1 order at 1/2 price but you were allowed to take it to go..

  8. usually you're allowed one meal if you work over a certain amount of hours, if you're not sure ask your supervisor.

  9. It's up to the manager of the outlet

  10. yes but they have to pay as much as any customer unless the manager of the restaurant gives you a discount.

dont just take it. you will get fired!!!

  11. AT the store i work at you get 1 free meal for your shift> the size of the meal depends on how long your shift was. Then  other food you buy, even if you come on a dayy off, is 50% discounted. ALso we usually get the 1 minute expired pies, parfaits, nuggets, selects ect. Then ofourse there is always "quality checking", but dont do this one too often! lol hope that helped.

  12. Some places base free consumption on length of shift, e.g., if you're working a short shift you can have a small sandwich, longer shift, larger sandwich, etc.

  13. i used to work at a McDonald's. i guess your question is do employees get to eat the food "for free"? the answer to that is yes. depending on the manager in charge at the time, there are different rules on how much food consumption is allowed. most places allow employee meals, which will be like an extra value meal that must be entered into the register, so inventory is properly taken. when i worked there on the food preparation line, we had a daily contest in which we competed to see who could consume the most chicken nuggets in a shift- i dont believe this is allowed. you may want to stay away from back room food fights as well.

  14. Yes

  15. yeah, on break or off duty.

  16. not for free though

  17. ya if you pay for it.. free food to employees went out the window years ago..

  18. I think the better ? is can a McDonalds employee buy BK & eat at work on lunch.
