Can english tv be received by satillite in spain ?

Yes, my mother in law gets a sky card sent to her uk address and uses it ok in Spain, you need to look into it a bit more cos I thought you were not supposed to do that, but the brits have satelite dishes everywhere.  My advice is to ask some Brits in Spain what they do, any Brit bar owner will help.

No. I live in Spain and we have English satellite but you need a bigger dish here to pick up the channels, it is illegal to have English satellite in Spain so Sky are continuously forced to make their beam smaller, meaning us in Spain have to keep buying bigger dishes to compensate for this.

We have a 1.4 metre dish and we were recommened to have a 1.6 metre, we cannot get Channel 4, Sky Family, Sky Drama to mention a few because of this, however, our box is 7 years old so we need to upgrade that and it will then be fine.

Yes, but you need a large dish to receive a good enough signal in Spain; around 1 - 1.2 metres in diameter.
