Can epididymitis cause infertility ?

trying for baby for 5 months no joy but husband had epididymitis 3+ years ago so can there be any problems that go hand in hand with infertility

Yes it could.  But 5 months is not long to try, it took me a few months shorter than a year.  But your husband can get checked out to make sure he is able to produce.
