I think  if you take somebody 's life away u should get killed and thats it . If you rape someone you should get castrated.

When someone commits a crime toward another human , they take something away from them physically but specially psychologiacly so we should take saomething from them too  . Stealing at the store or smoking weed shouldnt be punished ,u see what i mean, you ahve to know what hurts someone else and what doesnt

Umm, is this a rhetorical question?  Personally, I believe that Yahoo:Answers should be for legitimate questions, that is, those that can be answered.

Also, your answers aren't quite relevant to your questions.  Also, if you're going to get hot and bothered about criminals, you should specify what criminals you're talking about?  Persistent squeegee offenders?  murderers?

First off, you can only prosecute crimes that are committed by choice - otherwise you run into the insanity defense.  Also, there is no single definition for "habitual criminal" or "generally" (as to "GENERALLY DON'T CHANGE") and no guidance as to how often "most of the time" is enough of the time.  Considering what it costs to incarcerate even some of the prisoners (apart from the increased likelihood that incarcerated offenders will have to go back inside), even the "MOSTOF" are still worth trying for.

Killed?  I like to squeegee my own car, but that's still a bit extreme.

ummm would you want to be killed for somthing you did ?? for a mistake ?? and who gets to deside who WILL and who WILLNOT change ??? everyone has the choice to change people change all the time ! for good and for bad ! have you sene the movie Felon ?? if not rent it !!! its about a guy who is at home with his family (wife and little son around 5 i think) he hears somthing late at night gets up and somone is in his house went throuh the guys sons window to rob them !! the guy gets a bat and goes after the intruder who reaches in his belt to tuck the wallet he took  but the other guy thinks its a gun so he hits him in the head with the bat and it kills him ...he gets charged with murder ! b/c it was outside of the house when he hite him ...should he be killed for protecting his family ??? NO b/c we know the story ...but the LAW says he is guilty and if people we killed for crims they would say he needed to die .... youll say that is diffrent right ??? but with allll the crime today whos going to sit back and look at everyyy case really good ?? and deside who should live and die ?
