  1. nope northern hemisphere sees different stars from the southern hemisphere

  2. Unfortunately, no.  I live in Montana, and we have great dark skies, however there are stars in the southern hemisphere that I can not see. Like the Southern Cross, and something that I'd love to see some day, the Megallanic Clouds.

  3. No,think about the piece of space you see when you look up.Now imagine being in the other hemisphere, use a globe if you need to.

  4. No. Picture someone on the North Pole and someone on the South Pole. They are looking exact opposite directions into space. The only stars they both see are those that are out above the Earth's equator, like the constellation Orion.

  5. At the same time no, because think about it, on the northern hemisphere it may be daytime, which means the southern will be night time so how can you see those stars (besides the sun) at the same time?

  6. no it depends on the location. it is beacause of the rotation of the earth

  7. Not quite.

Everyone at the same latitude sees the same stars, but at different times. For example, a person in New York sees the same stars as someone in Madrid, but they rise earlier in Madrid.

But someone in Australia never sees the big dipper, while someone in New York never sees the southern cross.

  8. No even the moon is different. Like in a mirror

  9. there are some stars that everyone can see, but not always at the same time either...

most of the stars tho, are northern-southern hemisphere specific.

  10. The Northern hemisphere sees one part of the sky, while the southern hemisphere sees another.
