Can eye contacts fall out during a soccer game?

Lets say you take a fall... Can they fall out? I heard from someone that can't happen, that they only fall out if your eyes come in contact with water or something... please help.

They shouldnt unless you fall down on your face.

If you eyes are dry - a contact can come out or move at any time. As long as you keep your eyes well lubricated (artificial tears) you should not have a problem. However, I had one pop out (because my eyes were dry) while on a dance floor one time. Found it, washed it off in the bathroom, popped back in and was fine.
