Can eyeglasses cause a lump on the side of your head, where the ends rest?

I just noticed that I have a lump on the side of my head, where my glasses rest, just before my hairline? Can this be caused by ill fitting glasses?

My best guess would be that your glasses don't fit perfectly, and the skin simply calloused.  I wouldn't be worried about it, its fairly common.

If they don't fit properly, they can cause issues. Are they too tight, digging in? If so, you need to first try to get them adjusted at the optometry office. They can look at the lump to make sure it's being caused by pressure or friction from the frames, and then loosen and adjust the fit.
