Question:

Can fair blondes make themselves look as good as brunettes??

It seems that brunettes with medium to tan skin and thicker hair can do their hair better, do their makeup better (more options), and make themselves look overall better. Example- kim kardashian- I don't think that naturally she is very pretty, but she can make herself look really good with her hair and makeup.

But for blondes...it doesn't seem to be the same case. There really aren't that many blondes who can put on the same amount of makeup and look just as good. And when they do, they are naturally brunette, so their hair is thicker to begin with, and they go tanning 8 times a week.

The Victoria Secret Models are mostly dark brunettes, and they can put on tons of makeup and look amazing and s**y. But the blondes, can only do so much without looking fake-bake and trashy, especially the fair blondes.

I am a fair blonde with light blonde hair. I would LOVE to be able to put on more makeup, darker eyeshadow etc.

But I burn too easily, have freckles, and if I put on dark eyeshadow, I look whorish, and it just looks bad!

Can blondes (natural) make themselves look as good (s**y) as brunettes? My opinion---no. You??? And how?? And who is a good example?

  1. I'm also light blonde but i have thick hair. I have found that using a wing-tipped eye is very s**y. For the line above your top lash line, you can make it as thick or thin as you want it but i had to experiment a bit to get it perfect. Also you can use a dark brown eye liners because it looks black on fair blondes. It also takes a bit of practice, but once you get it it looks great. I could also suggest maybe some darker gold or bronze eye shadows. I've never looked in the mirror and thought i looked trashy using this style, just s**y. The best advice I can offer is to play around with this style until you get it just how you want it.

i can't really tell you exactly how to do the wing tip, but look up pictures online and im sure just by looking you'll get it.

  2. Yes you can! Sure you can't wear overwhelming amounts of dark make up but who really can? Bring out the color in your eyes with eye shadows that compliment your eye color and bold lashes.

http://fileserver.glam.com/glampress/cel... Kirsten Bell is gorgeous and she's a fair blonde.

    Or Kate Hudson...

Smoky eyes and playing up your lips are also key.

  3. No.

  4. Hun, us blondes are just as s**y as brunettes if not more so. ;]

We just don't need as much make up and those that wear that much make up are insecure about their looks so they think that by hiding their face behind the trashy make up will make them look better, blonde or not. Hair color has nothing to do with it.

As for tanning, think about it this way, those who aren't tanning 8 times a week will have less wrinkly, skin damaged skin and probably look younger much longer.

  5. just try softer tones that are more natural to your skin tone and don't do heavy make up it looks bad i hope i helped i wish i could help more but i am a natural brunette and i have dark skin sorry!
