  1. I have read that fairies are both good and bad depending on their origin.  They say you can only see them in the late afternoon just before winter.  These are the good fairies but if you reside where the weather is mild, you will find fairies that will make you miserable.

  2. faries are creatures that do not know the difference between right and wrong. They will play harmless tricks on you meant only as fun, but they can be very mischevious. If anything ever gets out of hand with faries, carry iron with you, it repels them!

but most of the time they are good, helping, caring faries!

  3. In the realm of Faerie, there is no such thing as true evil and true good. Faeries are fickle beings; each have a lighter and darker side. Though some preside over things that we consider "evil", they are simply necessary parts of life.

Evil and Good are left to that of perspective. Admittedly, there are faeries that could be considered "bad", and there are faeries that humans, without doubt, consider "bad".

Faeries are aspects of the Earth and the Universe; of Otherworld and all things we consider otherworldly. So of course there are Faeries that aren't rainbows and butterflies, and there are faeries that are considered absolutely despicable, even by the estimation of other faeries. But we must keep in mind, that without "bad" or "evil" faeries, there would be no "good" or "nice" faeries. So I suppose there are evil faeries.

  4. they can be evil. look up the unseelie court

  5. I believe pixies are evil, and fairies are good

  6. i dont know if they are real but they can be evil/playful

  7. yes, there can be evil fairies.

  8. ferriez r g*y

  9. Depending on the type of fairy and origin, they can be good or evil. Generally they are reffered to as evil in mythology and folklore, but there are references to them being good.

  10. It depends on the myths you are looking at. Most fairies are good, bringing blooms to flower and keeping nature primped by spreading seeds and such.

Others are helpful but can be menacing if provoked like brownies which are a house fairy that completes small favors of maintenence around the house that they live in for the humans. However if they are paid in any way other than milk or honey with a few crackers they will take offense and will cause mischeif.  They are rumored to steal your keys or misplace things in your home. The lamp you blamed the dog for breaking, think again. lol.

There are also bogarts which are negative fairies that will only cause trouble and try to induce fear.

There are many other types of fairies as well. Some good, some neutral, others not so much.

  11. I would not say evil, very mischivous sure. Brownies are know for it. Depending on the legend you look at some are good and others not so good. Jinn for example are not know to be nice.

  12. R DEY REAL

  13. Faeries are neither evil nor good. They do as they please, and they do not view 'evil and good' as we do. Faeries will harm you as quickly as help you. It depends on their mood. They usually act on a whim.

I'm not sure, but I think the seelie court is usually known as the good court because they are more pleasing to look at. And I think the unseelie court 'seem' more fierce. Still, the seelie court is just as dangerous as the unseelie court.

Read almost any book about faeries and you will know that they are not something to mess with.

  14. they can be whatever the h**l they want to be. its so terrible how everyone always tries to categorize something as either evil or good. thats like asking if people are evil or good, or if black people are evil or good, its individuality, not race.

  15. Yes, faeries can be evil as well as good. They are not all pink gossamer and gazy wings, and they can be quite ugly. If you are interested, I reccomend Brian Froud's book "Faeries". It is informative and has many beautiful (and not quite so much) illustrations.
