You can copyright simple designs but the mere fact of changing one element of an otherwise more complex design can offset the copyright. Touchy question.

It's like the cloning of computers in Korea, China along with many other products and they are not infringing on any computer. They use a different design on the computer casing.

It's like forbidding my magazine to use different inks or paper because the magazineis the same size as others.
