Thinking I should lose some weight before I try it but then if gravity and acceleration is not biased, why bother, eh?

  1. I'm fat and I skied to the South  Pole.  I didn't do many tricks, though, hauling a 100 pound sled.

  2. Agility.

  3. I don't know about flying in the halfpipe, but older and heavy people can learn how to snowboard. Weight does make landing jumps harder and makes physical conditioning and flexiblity even more important.

I weigh almost 200lbs and I can do 180 spins easily and rarely am able to pull off a 360, but since I'm older and heavier I prefer to ride in the trees and in the powder and do my tricks jumping off the edge of the groomed run into powder instead of off a rock hard kicker in the park.

    Good Luck
