  1. yes i used to work at a truck stop and i guy i worked with had been to prison and he still had his and if it does get revoked you can get one from another state but that doesnt mean that you will get hired on somewhere plus a lot of truck drivers have felonies


  2. If you already have a CDL, having a felony charge will not make your license void.

    BUT... it will seriously restrict you in terms of what you can haul and where you can go.

    Therefore, it is a serious matter.  Some trucking companies might even have to let you go.  

    Depending on the charge, if you have your CDL and are seeking employment, you may have a very difficult time finding someone to hire you.  

    Infractions (moving violations, etc...) on your license history make a big difference too.  As do positive results from drug tests.

  3. Depends on the nature of the crime.  Most companies will not hire you to drive their assets with a felony.
