  2. use an apoxy resin.  it comes in two tubes and when mixed, you apply, and it will harden like a rock.  this will work for pretty much anything.  I did it on my gas tank, but, if the whole is too big, it will not work

  3. use KBS Numetal epoxy putty then prep & seal the inside of the tank with Gold Standard tank sealer

  4. No. It will delaminate. Bondo is not made for gasoline contact.

  5. Always worked good for me. Bikes, cars etc.

  6. ive used glass to repair alot of tanks, not any good at stress points though

  7. yeah but there is a epoxy tube of under water repair that is better.....by the way fiberglass and bondo are 2 different things...look at walmart

  8. Probably not. I wouldn't use it.

  9. NO

  10. NO!!!

    Take the tank off

    have it steamed

    and repaired with a weld!!!

any thing else is asking for trouble!!!

Dont mess with the fuel system, like the brake system

engineers a lot smarter than us designed them and how they run properly

do it right the first time and you will be happier that you did.

    good luck
