  1. yes depending on the amount of time spent in the skates. I think once they start to break down alot its a no go. The easiest way to mould them yourself is like with a hair dryer in your boots for like 10mins or with boot warmers.

  2. asking the boot manufacturer would be best

  3. you suppose to heat mold the skates ones when you put them in the oven for few minutes and put them hot on on your feet, so the boot takes you shape...and wait until the boots completely cold before taking them off (might take 20 - 30 min)

I don't think you can heat them second time, as far as I know with the companies that I know they tell you not to reheat them second time as you might damage them. So if you done them wrong just leave them the way they are they will mold to the feet, but will take longer and it might be painfull.

  4. There are some brands that can be molded once.  Some three times.  Some as many times as you want.  You should email the company and see what they say.

Molding it with a hairdryer takes time and I'm not sure how well it actually works.  My coach has taught me to "bake" my skates in the oven.

What I always find works the best is just leave them somewhere sunny for a LONG amount of time.  I think if you leave them in a car parked outside for a couple hours you'll get the best fit.

BUT FIRST see if you actually can mold them again.  The leather that some companies use are treated so they can only take a couple rounds of heat.  The more you heat them the faster they can break down, so you should really know why you're heating them again.

If your ankle bones hurt, you don't have to heat up the whole thing all over again.  That's when I do recomend the hair dryer.  Heat up the one spot that hurts, and take a spoon and hammer and pound out a spot for your ankle bones.

If it's for your toe line, consider buying a shoe-stretcher, therefore you don't have to heat it.

If it's because it's bugging your achilles or your heel consider buying a Bunga pad or other pads you can put in the spot.

  5. ya, but if you do it too many times the skates can't hold the shape and they become practically useless

  6. Usually.  I would say just try it by putting on your skates at home and holding a hairdryer set on high up to the boot for about 15 minutes.  This should produce at least some change.
