Can finalized discs be used to re record videos. ?

i have a sony cam with a dvd-rw vr mode. i want to upload videos to my computer and then re record. but to upload i need to finalize. is it possible to record on a disc thats been finalized?

Yes, you simply select "unfinalize" in the camcorder, then re-format the disc.

Since it's a rewritable DVD you can reformat it and carry on recording.  You'll lose whatever's on the disk though!
