Can fingerprints be done at any police station in the surronding counties or only at the county you live in?

applying for a gov job and he just told me to go to a police station for fingerprinting theres one close to were i have to turn the form in and i was wondering if i could just go to that one. My city doesnt have a police station so..i can imagine that i can? thank u

It does not matter if you live in the city or not. The police department may charge a fee for taking your prints (some do, some do not.)

You may want to give that station a call and see what the procedure is for a person who needs employment fingerprints taken.

Also, if they are for a Government job, check with any local Military Bases and see if you can get it done on base.
