NO BECAUSE ITS ILLEGAL

its illegal to intoduce any non native species into the wild.. they can have an outdoor enclosure (depending on where u live) which is escape proof but u cant just sling them into the pond. also have u considered the possiblity of injury to the ecosystem of the pond, local wild life or the newts themselves
