  1. A betta can live in a small plastic tank like that - well, not too small, I'd recommend a gallon at least - but don't listen to the person who suggested goldfish. Tose need at least 30 gallons.

If you really want fish, you're better off getting a larger glass aquarium with a filter.

  2. beta fish a re pretty much the only fish that can survive in that tank. DO NOT PUT A GOLDFISH IN! goldfish can become the size of your foot. also, if you do get a beta, do not use air pumps or any other "bubble making machine" it can make them sick.

  3. invest in a nice glass tank. research the fish you want first and find out theyre adult size and what size tank is recommended for it

  4. SOME FISH CAN BUT SOME ONLY STAY IN GLASS I SAY GLASS AND WAT TYPE OF FISH IS IT

  5. A small aquarium is adequate for small fish such as guppies, mollies and swordtails. Acrylic tanks have been sold for years and have proved not to be harmful to fish. Their greatest advantage is that they weigh less than glass tanks. I personally have a huge acrylic tank where I keep expensive Discus fish and have never encountered a problem.

  6. A betta or goldfish could be kept in that with out filtration. Anything else will require atleast aeration to allow the fish to breath. Think about this though, if you were a fish would you want to be stuck in that little thing. If you want to keep fish save up a little money and get a ten or twenty nine gallon tank to house them in. You will get much more pleasure out of it.

  7. Nope. I dont even think thats a gallon! Its very saddening and cruel when people put fish in there.

the smallest tank for a fish I would go is a 5 gallon tank with a heater, filter, live plant. And in that would be a single betta. This is actually a very beautiful aquarium set up. I love bettas :)

  8. Yes they can. but you need to Clean it almost everyday if you don't have a filter. And you need 2 fish in a plastic cage otherwise they die quicker.

  9. Maybe a betta but I think that's WAY too small.

  10. NO plastic is bad and it releases toxins into their water. Glass doesnt retain any toxins and can be washed without any problems.

  11. Link wouldn't open for me.
