I swear I just saw my fish yawn just a second ago.. it was so cute.

reading this question literally made me yawn lol, my fish yawn all the time its cool, i stare at their teeth when they do.

it can also be a sign of illness

No fish can not yawn (they don't have lungs) your fish was probably taking in more water in order to process the water into air

some fish open up their mouths to make their heads look bigger. Its a way of threatening an enemy.

ummm....i think they just open and close their mouths so it might have not been a yawn...but idk

I always say my goldfish yawn! Yea i do think they do as mine always used to do it.
