  1. Fleas can't live on us,(a) because we don't have the right fur/hair & its not all over us & (b) they don't seem to like our taste!

How ever fleas can bite you,it will just look like a gnat bite, but no they can't live in you hair, all they might do is jump on you, have a bite & jump off, simple as that. To rid the house, use a "flea bomb"(not an actual bomb lol) or a house-hold flea killer.you will need to leave the room/or house when sprayed or a couple of hours but it does work & it kills the flea eggs that are in the carpet. You can buy these from all/most pet shops.

    Hope this helps.x*x

  2. Fleas can live anywhere on you - not just in the hairy spots.

Fleas spend a fair amount of time off the host - they feed on you, and jump off to find fleas to mate with and to lay eggs. Then they jump around til they land on you to bite you again for another feed.

To get rid of them, vacuum carpets, beds and fabric covered clothing every day, for at least two weeks. You may get rid of the live fleas by vacuuming for a couple of days, but then a week later any remaining eggs will hatch & you'll have a new infestation to deal with.

Be sure to keep the vacuum bag outside (the fleas can escape otherwise, and eggs inside the bag will still hatch).

Flea bombs are very effective - I would recommend using one in each room after you have vacuumed for a few days.

As a final measure, sprinkle borax on the carpets, leave it for an hour and vacuum it away.

If the above routine doesn't get rid of the fleas, I doubt anything will - but there is always the professional pest exterminators as a last resort...I doubt you'll ever need to do that, though.

I hope you are rid of the litte critters very soon!!

  4. Most definitely yes. And it's not just your skull they'll bite, when you sleep they wander and munch *everywhere*.
