  1. I am assuming you must have had an ultrasound to know you have fluid in your pelvis. it sounds to me like  you have had an ovarian cyst that ruptured(burst). the fluid that was inside the cyst is now in your pelvis (that's why it's called free fluid) and is very irritating to the surrounding tissue. Ovarian cysts can definitely cause the type of pain and symptoms you are describing. Also, you don't always feel pain just in the area where the actual problem is. Even if the problem is on the right side the nerves etc. can make it felt on the left! This is called referred pain when it is  felt away from the actual source. I've had many cysts and ruptured cysts and it isn't much fun to deal with. if it continues to be a problem be sure to talk to your gynecologist about treatment options. Good luck.

  2. You describe what sounds like an ovarian cyst.  These can become very large and are fluid filled sac.  The larger they get the more pressure they will put on your insides causing pain.  You need to see your ob/gyn to get an ultrasound.  This test will be able to tell whats going on inside your pelvis.  Good luck and take care.
