Can freeview tv work with an indoor arerial?

My dad has freeview on his telly and an outdoor areial. But the ourdoor ariel is only for his tv i think. I use an indoor ariel for mine.

You can use an indoor ariel only if your area receives a very strong Freeview signal and if this is not the case you can try a booster or a loft TV aerial . The best way to receive Freeview is with an external ariel made to receive analogue and digital reception.
