I think I found one by Emerald Isle, NC and i was wondering if they can live there. I was also wondering if they have little white tubes so they can breath?

  1. Yes, they can live in the Atlantic Ocean, and they do breathe and find food through two little tubes. Here's some info. about it, and a diagram of how their siphons stick out of the sand.

"The Atlantic geoduck (P. bitruncata), similar to the Pacific species, occurs from the coast of North Carolina to the Gulf of Mexico."

"Clams draw in and expel water for respiration and feeding through two tubes, the siphons, or "neck.""
