A DQ is more than a TV/CD. A DQ has a "queen" attitude or queen social persona when dolled up. Many girls copy DQ ways as a means to support general gender rebellion or to reflect on the real hidden diversity of sexual identity. On the other side, there are "drag kings", girls who dress as men, which is a totally different area.
