Can girls race in NASCAR?

i would like to race in NASCAR but idk if they allow girls to race in NASCAR

YES! please do it! that would finally bring NASCAR to the downward spiral that it should be on. How's that for encouragement?

Yes, women are encourage to compete in Nascar. Especially with Nascars push for diversity where they are trying to help encourage minorities, women, and other to participate. There have been several women in Nascar, however, none have really been that successful. Erin Crocker had her shot, maybe even more than a shot, but even in the truck and Busch series she had not done that well. Nascar will end up being more about performance.

Been a fan of NASCAR for 30 + yrs. Seen women come and go. I would love to see a woman come in and stand the sport on it's ear! Not because of any negative feelings. Just the opposite in fact. And no, I'm not g*y. Imagine how many fans that would bring in. Not to mention, there are many beautiful women at the track, but a few more wouldn't be a bad thing. Can I get an amen?!!!!!!!!!

well they let jeff gordon and jimmie johnson race so yes i think women can race too.In fact whats her name that made bam racing was in there she just wasnt any good and i believe there is a woman in the truck series still

Yes they allow women in Nascar, but thus far none have been able to cope with the stress, and have real knowledge of what they were doing, thus, they left.......

you have to be experienced, you cant just walk in and say I am driving Nascar today, you need to get some races under your helmet, and move up slowly as everyone else has done.

Sure.  If you are THAT good, and you can really compete with the guys, and you have been racing long enough to get recognized by someone, then you absolutely can race in NASCAR.

Yes, they will. Just start in the lower echelon series - like the guys - race every weekend, build your skills, and move up. Ignore the haters, racing is about skill and marketability.

Time will tell if they can work their way up the ladder to the Nationwide or Cup series, win some races, find the right sponsors, right team to drive for, lotsa "seat" time,  etc,

Erin Crocker raced in it. Looked what happened to her though. She started banging her boss Evernham and he was 25 years older than her!! Thats 1/2 of her age.

YES!!! Girls can definitley can and I wish would race.  There are some diversity programs for women, and people of different decents to get a shot at NASCAR.  Wish you the best of luck.

Danica Patrick won an IRL race 2 weeks ago.

Lyn St.James was a successful road-racer in the 70's and

80's.

There was even a female Nascar driver way back in the 50's with the last name Flock.

Go for it...girls are allowed to race...male, female, black, white, young, old...the first one to the checkered flag wins, period.
