Can glass cut glass or scratch it?

i have diamonds that i think are real.i dragged both of them down a piece of glass and it scratched it pretty good.well i brought it to this lady to see if it was real and within seconds of looking at them she said they were glass.so if they are it seems you can scratch glass with glass,is that right?

Depends on the type of glass. Some types can be use to hammer a nail and won't break. Glass is manufactured to specific needs. Materials and heat are the keys. Also glass is really a liquid not a solid. Diamonds are all carbon, that has been subjected to immense heat and pressure.

yup. i'm pretty sure you can. me and my cousins would always go around doing random things and playing with c**p that could probably hurt us (like broken glass) and i think we tried that.
