  1. Yes, but for the trouble and expense involved, there is no point. It is so much trouble, with uncertain results removing grips, especially old ones or the winn types, that new grips are best. Besides, new grips feel so good and you can custom size them for your hands.

  2. You can reuse grips. the trick is getting them off. You can find a grip removal tool item number VGGR at www.golfworks.com that sells for 19.95. You slide it under the grip and squirt a little lighter fluid under into the space between the grip and shaft and with a little work you will soon have fluid under the entire grip. At this point just slide the grip off. I use lighter fluid on grips as it is cheap, readily available and does not require you to sign for it like a controlled substance.

  3. Yes you can !

However you need to use a regripper airtool - with a controller sleeve. This allows you to remove the grip without using chemicals.

Regripping with a airtool is a breeze as well - and there is no waiting for adhesives to dry - you can play immediately after regripping.

I found a website last month who sell these handy tools.

    Hope this helps.

  4. You can take them off without the tool. You need a spray bottle with a tapered nozzle this fits into the hole at the top of the grip, fill the spray bottle with white spirits. once you've done this press the tapered part of the nozzle into the hole firmly and spray the spirits into the shaft, it takes a while but it will eventually push the white sprits down the grip but make sure you have a towell covering the base of the grip to catch excess white spirits, once its squirted out the base of the grip, you should then be able to twist the grip and slide it off. This how we do it in our pro shop where i work so we can then put the grips back on after we've shortened or lengthened clubs. hope this helps.
