Can group owner see hidden email addresses?

Question

If owner allows members to hide email addresses from others (the one that you can't change once you have chosen it) can the group owner still see them. I don't mean the one on the left side of group home page where owners can keep members from seeing the whole members list. Thanks for any help you can give me.

no, no one will be able to including the owner. all you'll see is the Yahoo ID. also, this group setting is not reversible and you loose the polls feature
