Can grout be used to fill nail holes in the walls?

I ran out of plaster to fill the holes in my apartment before I move, but I have a whole container of grout. If it is possible I would preffer not to spend anymore money.

  3. It might be too coarse.  If it is, just use toothpaste!  (White, of course!)

  4. If it is fine grout it is as good as plaster.The coarse grout is also ok since they are only nail holes, just make sure that you sand it though.You will hardly notice any difference once the paint goes on.

  5. No it will not give you a smooth finish and you wont be able to sand it .
