Can guardianship revoke the durable power of attorney?

If the nursing home filed a pettion to asign a guardianship will it revoke my durable power of attorney? If so can I be made to show the wherebots of the money? My granmother gave me the money and per her request to sell her house. What happens next? There is nothing to guard? Are they trying to make a apeal to the board of Medicare to get them to pay the difference of my grandmothers bill.

  1. I am not an attorney, but they probably can revoke the power of attorney on her behalf if they gain guardianship.  You really need a lawyer.  Now.  Don't wait.
