Can guinea pigs eat pine nuts? and what kind of treats do you give your guinea pigs?

I'm not sure about pine nuts. But, my sister has two guinea pigs and for treats she gives them lettuce, apples, guinea pig yogurt treats, and cereal; like Cheerios. Good luck.

Guinea pigs should eat PELLETS ONLY because nuts can get stuck in their throat, they will choke and die=( I give my guinea pigs a special type of hay, baby carrots, apples, plain cheerios, dark lettuce,and strawberries. Rinse the carrots before you give it to them, same goes with the lettuce.Don't give them ice berg lettuce either. Another thing with the seeds is  it is unhealthy for them, it would be like us going to eat at McDonald's every day my vet told me.
