  1. i do i had my goldfish and guppies in a tank for years...i keep the temp at 78-80 degress i guess yea...

  2. no there hot water fish guppys

  3. As you can see most people agree with me, the pet store associate did not do his research or lacks knowledge of coldwater and tropical fish.

  4. Goldfish and Guppies should NOT be kept together. 1.- Guppies need a heater. 2.- Goldfish have a special protective slime that is toxic to other fresh water fish.

  5. While goldfish are cold water fish and guppies are warm water fish, they can still be kept in the same tank.  Keep the temp around 80 degrees and everything will be fine.  Goldfish will not eat your guppies, and you will have no other problems.  I have had goldfish in the same tank as my guppies and other fish for years and have never had any problems.

  6. no

goldfish are cold water high ammonia produces and should not be kept with other fish

guppies are tropical fish and require a warmer temperature

edit: i have no idea what goldfishes are i am guessing you mean goldfish because fish is both a singular and plural word

  7. The thing is with Fish they will eat anything they can fit into their mouths now guppies are smaller than goldfish , and your goldfish will eat them, maybe not at the start but they will end up as dinner.

Your best bet is to either keep both but in separate tanks or to keep one.

The above answer is also correct.
