Question:

Can guppies and long armed freshwater shrimps stay together ?

I have a 100 gallon tank with 24 guppies and i also have 3 long armed freshwater shrimps about 4-6 cm long ( head to tail , not including arms)

can they live with each other or will the shrimps eat my guppies.

  1. In reference to you goldfish question. I deleted my answer and it won't let me answer again.

    When you cleaned your tank did you use windex or a bucket that contained cleaners because they are toxic to fish even in small amounts.


  2. they will be fine together....

      but your tank is really under stocked!! you could add alot more fish if you wanted to because although the shrimp wont eat the fish, they will eat the fish eggs, therefore, you would not have the problem that some people have of guppies over breeding...

    id either get more guppies, a small school of four or five otos, or some other tye of small schooling fifh (about seven or eight...)  this would make you tank very beautiful!!
