I am a male and most of my friends are girls. People keep saying that guys cant be "just friends" with girls without the girl liking him or the guy liking the girl. I honestly believe it is possible but i just wanted to see what some of you believe.

  1. I think it's possible.

  2. I think so... There are guys I feel absolutely no romantic or sexual attraction to whatsoever, but are really great and I love to hang around with them.

  3. It's very possible.  I have many very good guy friends who I can NEVER imagine being in a relationship with, because I see them as, simply, my good friends, like brothers.  Just like I view a girl friend, that's how I view these guy friends.  I'm not saying that i've never thought about it, like "what would it be like if we dated?" but that's the most it's risen to.

  4. Well...I'm 22, around the age where everyone is having fun and enjoying ourselves - as we do.

Yet two of my best and most trusted (and loyal) friends of the past 6 - 8 years are both girls.

Both have long term boyfriends - I have a long term girlfriend.

Not only that, but there's just never been a hint of s*x between us friends - just strong friendship and trust - and the more that time passes, the more I would never, ever want to risk a friendship by making a move on either of them.

I think that relationships DO have the chance to develop from friendships (my last did) and there's nothing wrong with that - BUT those relationships develop when they're given the chance...when you want it to. When you let it. If you're with someone, then that prospect simply isn't there I think, if you're committed to who you're with.

    So yes, they can!

  5. Sure they can be Friends Only, as not every guy i 'll know , i would love him & have the feeling that i want to sleep with  him !!!  This is strange  way of thinking really, as god created us boys & girls, men & women , & sure not all the men of the earth will sleep with women of the Earth  !!!

  6. YES they can , i have a GUY friend and i can always talk to him.

becuz he is a guy a see the world from a different point so he makes me feel better cuz sometime talking to a girl cant help much.

i need some new opinion in my life that doesn't come from only girls

    about those above me

i doubt he have any chemistry for me though , it would be awkward

  7. yah u can but eventuaally u will like them a lil but u can mmaintain it

  8. no its impossible because at some point one or another will start liking the other and it's a repetitive process until u are both married

  9. Of course. I am a girl that has mainly guy friends. A good guy can be friends with a good girl. However a guy that is looking to get his foot in the door to try and get some play could not. Upon strengthening your relationship you might confuse having the same likes as liking each other. However that doesn't always happened. Sometimes they will make a great spouse to someone else and are truly great people. We just don't always feel for others the way they feel about us. If anyone says this is impossible they are crazy, lazy, and only have a one track mind. My best friend for 10 years is male and my other best friend and I have hung out every day for 3 years and we are all still friends and functioning like any other same s*x friendship would. There may be the occasional crush between you as long as you clear the air and communicate what is and what will never be like responsible adults then I don't see why you too wouldn't be able to have friendships with the opposite s*x.

  10. Possible, but usually only if the guy is g*y.  I don't mean that offensively, I have nothing against homosexuality.  If most of your friends are girls, you must identify more with them than with males your age.  Nothing wrong with that, just an observation.  Most of the guys who have been my friends did finally admit feelings for me, and the other ones are the ones that I had feelings for.  Ironic but true.  So, in conclusion, while everything is possible and I am sure it sometimes happens, pure friendship feelings amongst both people (assuming both are heterosexual) is rare.  And I think that is just because over time we tend to become closer and closer to those who we spend time with and have things in common with.  Also, as you become more emotionally attached to someone you tend to view them as more attractive.  So it is just natural for relationships to develop.

  11. yah one of my best friends is a guy

  12. it's possible.....but it won't permanent.

  13. I believe what you believe, but I wish others can believe it too. In my school, if you even talk to a guy, (im a girl by the way) everyone would think you like him. It's very annoying. I mean, even if you just want to be nice to a guy, they always take it the wrong way. Even if you joke around with something, they would think you are flirting, when you're not. Maybe in your school it's different, but I, too, wish girls and guys could be "just" friends. I wish you the best....but still, I think girls and guys could be friends too.

  14. if..and only if there is not a physical attraction anywhere...

  15. It depends on your age.  The older you get, the harder it is.  Once I entered a serious relationship and moved in with my girlfriend, most of my friendships with other girls died.  It is hard to stay close to other females while in a relationship.  You have to stay emotionally committed to the person you are in a relationship with.

  16. Well a guy and a girl can be friends only and only if there is no attraction, mental or fisical.

  17. YA i have sooooo many friends that r boys! but im not gonna lie i have a little crushes but then they do somethin stupid and then just look like my brother. lol
