Can guys wear the same clothes that girls do in volleyball?

I'm talking spandex shorts, high socks, etc. Just wondering because i'm starting to play volleyball myself.

trust me, a big NO for the spandex shorts. it will save you from total embarrassment. you could check online stores of what NORMAL male volleyball players wear.

I don't know any male volleyball players, strait or not, who wear spandex, sorry. They do wear compression shorts sometimes under thier board shorts or other shorts. High socks sometimes.

You gotta be fng kidding, although it would be hilarious.  Standard is board shorts, both on the beach and in the gym.  Please if you do where the spandex tell me what beach you play at so I can point and laugh.

I would definitely not wear the same spandex as girls. They are VERY short and TIGHT they are spandex!!! NO - probably wouldn't wear high socks either!

there's nothing in the rules that prohibits it, but i dont think any straight guy in his right mind would wanna wear that...

uhh no.  Girls wear spandex and fun socks and tight shirts,

Guys wear board shorts and regular socks and t-shirts (if wearing shirts)

Seriously?  No, please don't.  For your sake and also for anyone who is watching.  Say no to the spandex buddy.  That's never okay for a guy to wear.

Uhhh about that.  Big no no.  Spandex?  You serious?  Wear some athletic shorts or something but nothing tight!  Thats gross.  For a guy, stick with the short socks, you might not even need knee-pads, depends on what you think.
