  1. Is that Kaytee Yogurt Chips?

Then it is perfectly fine to give to hamsters.

This is kinda funny but companies give similar products different packaging to position for different animals. The product you have bought is similar to Kaytee Yogurt chips for hamsters too.

Check both the product ingredients - it is almost the same!

Of course, in the future, be careful about other rabbit products since not all products might be the same like the above.

Also, remember these are only treats, so feed the hamster only one every two days since the rabbit chips might be bigger than the hamster chips.

  2. Rabbit food is made for RABBITS.

If your hamster could eat it, it would be called Rodent Food; implying it is safe for all types of rodents.

If you have adwarf, it's an absolute NO. Dwarfs and Gervils need a special dieet that's high in carbs + protein (like seeds) while rabbits need food that is higher in fibers.

  3. Um, no.

Otherwise there would be rodent food for each individual rodent.

Rabbit food will have stuff in hamsters don't need and is also very fatty to an animal one tenth the size of a rabbit.

  4. I have a hamster and the food i give to her is basically made for all different kinds of rodents.. E.G: rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice, etc..
