Can having a small hole punctured into a wall cause the paint, because it's disturbed, emit more VOCs?

My wall has a small gash on it that goes pretty deep, from where something fell. Because the paint was disturbed in this area of the wall, would it be releasing more VOCs and things than normal? And also, where the wall itself is torn, is there any other chemicals or substances that might be gassing off into the air I'm breathing in?

  1. No,  VOC's  are not an issue after the paint dries.  An examples of  VOC are paint thinner, nail polish remover, etc.

  2. No. When the paint is dry, there ar no more VOICs.

And as far as the wall emitting strange toxins, drywall is just gypsum (a mineral) and some paper.
